Falkirk Funders Fayre: New Funders Confirmed

Falkirk Funders Fayre 2017 is less than 6 weeks away now, on Tuesday 7th March, 10am – 3:30pm at the Bowhouse Community Centre, Grangemouth, FK3 0EU, and we can confirm even more funders for the day.

Attendees will be able to meet representatives from a wide range of funders, including Falkirk Council’s Make A Difference Fund, and newly announced In Kind Direct, who distribute donated goods from companies to organisations in the third sector.

As part of the Funders Fayre, In Kind Direct are also offering Falkirk-based third sector organisations 10% off their first order.

Falkirk Funders Fayre offer attendees the opportunity to learn about the variety of funding available in Falkirk, and ask funders questions about funding and their application criteria.

Volunteer Expo Online 2021

Volunteer Expo will hold their annual national event for volunteers online this year, on Friday 7th May – Saturday 8th May. The free event aims to connect volunteers, organisations and the third sector to harness the power of volunteering. Creative Breaks Funding Open for Applications

The Creative Breaks funding programme is now open for applications, with a total of £600,000 available to fund short breaks projects for carers and the people they care for. The programme provides 12 month grants to third sector groups and organisations to develop and deliver short breaks projects and services for carers of adults, young carers, and the people that they care for. Applicants do not have to be a registered charity, but must have a constitution. The deadline for applications is 5pm on Thursday 20th May.

Living Well Falkirk and Still Going Project Participants

The Still Going Project is looking for research participants across Scotland. The project uses the Living Well Falkirk app to help people keep active and healthy in later life, based on research which says there is a set order where people lose the ability to do everyday activities as they age.
