Falkirk Funders Fayre 2019: A Day In Pictures

Posted on March 7, 2019

Falkirk Funders Fayre 2019 was a bustling hubbub of people, meetings and explanations, and we couldn’t be happier with the day!

163 attendees spoke to 21 supporting organisations, with many arriving early and eager to get started – so much so we had to open the doors early.  They were also able to visit our pop-up café from local social enterprise Rainbow House, with a selection of home baked treats and hot drinks.

Early afternoon saw a presentation from Crowdfunder Scotland, which is available to view or download from the CVS Falkirk website.

We even had a visit from Falkirk Provost William Buchanan and local Councillor James Kerr, who spent time speaking with our funders, attendees and team. “I really enjoyed talking to everyone,” said Provost Buchanan, “it’s a very beneficial event.”

For a full impression of the day, check out the pictures below (click to enlarge), or click on #FalkirkFundersFayre19.

Forth Valley College, who’s Falkirk students created an Android app for the event (as part of their Graded Unit), was kind enough to do their own write-up, which can be found on the Forth Valley College website, along with a lovely picture of Andrew, Tariq and some of the students.

And that’s a wrap for Falkirk Funders Fayre 2019, and our fifth year at the Bowhouse Community Centre!  We at CVS Falkirk want to say a big thank you to everyone who joined us on the day, all our fantastic stallholders, our team, and most importantly, every single person who walked through the door. We couldn’t do it without any of you, and we hope you found it as useful as exhilarating as we did.  We’ll see you all again next year!
