Falkirk Foundation is recruiting a Community Football Education Officer.
The position is 35 hours per week (with evening and weekend work also required), based at Falkirk Stadium, with a salary of £22,500.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Business Operations Manager and have operational responsibility for co-ordinating community football education programmes. Their main roles will include:
- creating, innovating, and designing new programmes and content for Falkirk Foundation’s coaching programmes
- organising and delivering sessions in schools which take place pre-school, lunch time and after-school
- assisting students on a 1-2-1 basis during class time
- setting and monitoring coaches to ensure the success and quality assurance of courses offered by the organisation
- ensuring the delivery of all programmes is linked to the Falkirk Foundation strategy document
- assisting the Physical Activities & Wellbeing Officer and Programmes Officer in the delivery of education programmes.
- helping to grow the business by cultivating successful and enduring partnerships with external organisations Falkirk Foundation works in partnership with to deliver programmes
- working in partnership with the Business Operations Manager to develop and secure new business
Applicants must have experience as a coach, community education/youth worker, or equivalent, and experience in service or course delivery to young people and/or adults. They should also have experience co-ordinating and motivatiing staff, overseeing and coordination of budgets, and working with children of all ages.
