The Falkirk Food Initiative has launched its new Summer Food Box Scheme.
Referrals are welcome from agencies, services and organisations working with families who, during the summer holiday period, will struggle financially because of low income, the loss of free school meal entitlement, or a combination.
Each family will receive a 14 day food box, containing recipes, a meal planner, and information on services and agencies who can offer support.
Referrals forms should be submitted before Friday 7th June.
Collection date, time and the nominated worker delivering the box will then need to be discussed with Falkirk Food Bank.
