The Falkirk Food Futures Grant Programme is now open for applications. The Falkirk Food Futures project is funded by the UK Government, through the UK Community Renewal Fund (UKCRF).
The UK Community Renewal Fund is a UK Government programme for 2021/20221 which aims to support people and communities most in need across the UK to pilot local programmes and new approaches. The Grant Programme is one part of the Falkirk Food Futures project; further information on other parts of the project is available via the Forth Environment Link presentation.
The aim of Falkirk Food Futures Fund is to help community organisations to address food insecurity in Falkirk and build a fairer resilient and sustainable food future. This grant funding aims to support local organisations who can reach people in Falkirk who are facing the greatest challenges in relation to access to sustainable and dignified food.
Groups and organisations can apply for grants from £5000 – £30,000 ahead of the deadline at 12pm on Friday 28th January.
Forth Environment Link will manage this grant-giving process, and they encourage any interested applicants to get in touch and discuss their application, potential projects, and receive advice on the application process.
