Falkirk Council has published the draft Historic Environment Strategy for Falkirk 2017, “Our Future in the Past”. They are now seeking comments, which can be submitted by the online survey or in writing.
The strategy proposes a programme of priority actions for the next 5 years; these actions are linked to a vision of the historic environment of Falkirk, along with 8 key themes. Significant progress was achieved with the last strategy, adopted in 2006, and the actions proposed in the new strategy aim to reflect current challenges and opportunities.
Falkirk Council is keen to obtain views about their strategic vision for the historic environment of Falkirk, key themes and priority actions.
The deadline for responses is Wednesday 31st May.
The draft strategy and online questionnaire are available on the Falkirk Council website. Alternatively, views can be submitted in writing:
- by email: ruth.smith@falkirk.gov.uk
- by post: Falkirk Council Development Services, Planning and Environment Unit, Abbotsford House, David’s Loan, Falkirk, FK2 7YZ
