The Falkirk Area Welfare Benefits Advice Support Unit, funded through the People and Communities Fund, is operated by Falkirk Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) in partnership with Falkirk District Council, Denny and Dunipace, Grangemouth and Boness CABs. The project provides a quick response approach to people in need of advice and assistance, who have been directly affected by welfare reform.
They are currently recruiting the following positions:
- Welfare Benefits Officer
This position is for 35 hours per week, with a salary of £23,232 per annum and a fixed term contract until Saturday 31st March 2018.
The successful candidate will provide information and advice on all aspects of Welfare Benefits, provide assistance with the completion of Welfare Benefits forms and Mandatory Reconsideration Requests, and take on complex benefit casework.

- Administration Officer
This position is for 35 hours per week, with a General Grade 2 salary of £15,132 per annum, and a fixed term contract until Saturday 31st March 2018.
The Administration Officer will assist the Project Manager in the day to day running of the Project, providing an efficient and effective support service to project staff

Both positions are based at the Grangemouth CAB. The deadline for responses to both positions is Friday 2nd June. Applications must be submitted by application form.
