SUMMARY:Falkirk District Older People's Network: June 2026 Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Join Falkirk District Older People’s Network (OPN) on Thursday 25 June 2026 for a welcoming and informative morning focused on community safety\, support and staying connected in later life. \nThis session\, taking place in person at 1st Falkirk Scouts Hall\, 10am – 12pm\, welcomes local partners to share practical advice and information on support available for older adults across the Falkirk District. Focused on community safety\, support and staying connected in later life\, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service will highlight ways communities can stay safe and well; Tatjana Sandon\, Falkirk Council\, will discuss digital inclusion and safety; and PC Beth Paterson\, Police Scotland\, will speak about police processes and responses to community safety in Falkirk. \nThe meeting is an opportunity to meet like-minded people and organisations from across the Falkirk District\, hear more about the work and role of the OPN\, and explore how to become involved in the network.
