SUMMARY:Connecting Volunteering Network: November 2025 Meeting
DESCRIPTION:CVS Falkirk & District’s next Connecting Volunteering Network\, the last one of the year\, will take place on Wednesday 26 November 2025\, 10am – 12pm at Falkirk Community Fire Station\, Westfield\, Falkirk\, FK2 9AH. The network is for anyone involved in supporting or managing volunteers\, and provides a space to meet\, network\, discuss topics relevant to volunteering within the third sector\, and share experiences. \n\n\n\nWe will be joined by Alison Clyde\, CEO of Generations Working Together (GWT)\, who will speak about intergenerational practice\, how this brings people together in purposeful activities (which then promote greater understanding and respect between generations)\, and contributes to building more cohesive communities. DESCRIPTION:The Fore’s Spring 2026 Funding Round offers unrestricted grants of up to £45\,000 to help small charities and social enterprises develop\, grow or become more sustainable. All UK registered charities\, Charitable Incorporated Organisations (CIOs\, including SCIOs)\, Community Interest Companies (CICs) limited by guarantee and charitable Community Benefit Societies (CBSs) with an annual income of under £500\,000 are welcome to apply – if you are unsure\, please take The Fore’s eligibility quiz (linked for your convenience). \n\n\n\nOrganisations must register interest via the Apply for Funding page when registration opens at 12pm on Wednesday 26 November 2025. Registrations will be open for one week\, until 12pm on Wednesday 3 December 2025. \nOn Thursday 4 December 2025\, all registered applicants will receive confirmation of whether they have been allocated a place on the funding round\, along with details of how to apply. If there are more applicants registered than places available\, places will be allocated at random. Once organisations have received confirmation of their place on the funding round\, final applications must be submitted before 5pm\, Monday 12 January 2026. \nTo support organisations to apply for this funding\, The Fore are hosting an online Q&A session on Wednesday 26 November 2025\, 12pm – 1pm to provide further information and answer any questions before completing your registration.
