“Care with Confidence: Exercise for the Brain – Learning a Second Language”

The next Thursday “Care with Confidence” sessions from Falkirk and Clackmannanshire Carers Centre will take place: “Exercise for the Brain – Learning a Second Language” on Thursday 17th June, and “Walking Aids” with the NHS Forth Valley REACH team, on Thursday 24th June. As before, sessions are via Zoom, 10:30am – 12:30pm.

Money Advice Scotland “Money Works Webinar: Mortgages”

Money Advice Scotland has released its events schedule for June 2021, with all events, training and sessions free to attend. Upcoming events include “Money Works Webinar: Mortgages” on Thursday 17th June, and “Train the Trainer: Digital Delivery of Financial Wellbeing” on Monday 14th June and Tuesday 24th June. Money Advice Scotland also runs virtual interactive “Money Goals” workshops for service users, which cover a range of topics and can be tailored to any group.

The Power in Our Communities: Working with HSCPs

Outside the Box is running one of their The Power in our Communities afternoon sessions, "Working with HSCPs" on Thursday 17th June, 10:30am – 12:15pm, for anyone unable to attend during the previous event. This session is only for people from communities, third sector, community organisations and social enterprises.

Grangemouth Flood Prevention Scheme Community Session

Dates have been announced for online community engagement sessions regarding the Grangemouth Flood Prevention Scheme (GFPS), with the first sessions taking place on Tuesday 15th June. There will be 2 online overview sessions of the entire flood protections scheme, taking place on Tuesday 15th June at 1pm, and on Tuesday 22nd June at 5:30pm. There will also be 5 separate community online sessions for people in the Grangemouth, Carron, Carronshore, Wholeflats and Langlees areas.
