DESCRIPTION:Come along to this free community event to find out about services\, support and activities in your area!\nCVS Falkirk & District are delighted to welcome you to our Wellbeing Open Day\, which takes place 12:30pm – 6pm on Friday 28 March 2025 at Bonnybridge Community Hub\, Bridge Street\, Bonnybridge\, FK4 1AA. \nThis FREE event is OPEN TO ALL\, although children under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult. \nAt this event\, members of the public can drop in to learn about and speak with representatives from the many different organisations and services providing health and wellbeing initiatives throughout Falkirk District. \nOver 30 organisations will be present on the day to provide you with information relevant to health and wellbeing. These include: \n\nPause & Breathe CIC\nScottish Fire Rescue Service\nStrathcarron Hospice\nROOTS Foodbank and Community Events\nMaggie’s Centre Forth Valley\nTransform Forth Valley (Time 4 Us)\nNeighbourhood Networks\nOrder of Malta Dial-a-Journey\nVictim Support Scotland\nThe Braveheart Association\nChristians Against Poverty (CAP)\nTown Break\nUnder The Trees\nFalkirk Health and Social Care Partnership’s (HSCP) Health Improvement Service\nForth Valley Sensory Centre\nRoyal Voluntary Service Forth Valley\nHomestart Falkirk\nPlaylist for Life\nFalkirk & District Mental Health Association (FDAMH)\nHealthcare Improvement Scotland\nForth Valley Migrant Support Network\nFalls Prevention from Falkirk HSCP\nCentral Wellbeing SCIO\nHome Instead SUR Group\nBowel Cancer UK\nBreathing Space – NHS 24\nForth Valley First Responders\nCVS Falkirk & District\n\nCommunity lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the day\, and there will also be colouring in activities for young children. \nTake Part in Wellbeing Activities!\nA number of our local third sector groups and organisations will be running various wellbeing activities at this event for members of the public to take part in.
