SUMMARY:Unleashing Compassion Conference 2019
DESCRIPTION:Good Life\, Good Death\, Good Grief (part of the Scottish Partnership for Palliative Care) are holding their upcoming Unleashing Compassion Conference on Thursday 2nd May at the Renfield St Stephen’s Centre\, 260 Bath Street\, Glasgow\, G2 4JP. \nThe conference will focus on how to encourage open and supportive attitudes and behaviours relating to death\, dying and bereavement. \nKeynote speaker will be Dame Barbara Monroe\, who will draw on 40 years’ experience as a social worker\, and 14 years as Chief Executive of St Christopher’s Hospice\, to discuss some of the current issues and challenges facing those wishing to “unleash” the compassion within themselves and their communities. \nThere will also be opportunities for people to learn from and be motivated by each other\, to hear about new initiatives\, and to find out about practical ideas and tools that might be of use. \nTickets are £40 each. \nTo book your place\, or for further information (including details on plenary and break out sessions)\, please visit the Good Life\, Good Death\, Good Grief website.
