The Importance of Young Trusteeship in Scotland Event

November 15, 2018 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Free

The Association of Chief Officers of Scottish Voluntary Organisations (ACOSVO) and the International Voluntary Service (IVS) have organised a campaign asking at least 250 charities in Scotland to pledge to recruit a young person (26 years or under, as defined by Year of Young People 2018) to their board.

As part of this campaign, they are also holding a free event on Thursday 15th November during Trustees’ Week to bring together organisations who have pledged, with young people looking to join boards.

The event will run 3pm – 5pm at the Scott Moncrieff office, 3 Exchange Place, Semple Street, Edinburgh, EH3 8BL.

There will be a select number of speakers, though the majority of the event will be based around networking between organisations and young people.

To book your place, or for further information, please visit the Eventbrite page.
