SUMMARY:The Growth Partnership Online Learning Session
DESCRIPTION:We’re delighted to announce that Ian Marr from The Growth Partnership will join CVS Falkirk to deliver a short online learning session on “Social Impact Investment” on Monday 19th June\, 3 – 4pm. \nSocial Impact Investment is a way of financing services\, where third party investors work with a third sector provider and a public sector body to create high quality\, person-centred\, sustainable\, cost effective services. \nScottish Government has indicated their interest in using this financing model in the context of the Whole Family Wellbeing Fund; however\, Social Impact Investment has already been used elsewhere in Scotland\, and is used widely elsewhere in the UK and globally. \nThe Growth Partnership believes it is important to find new ways to finance delivering the support local communities need\, as everyone faces increasing demand and decreasing budgets.
