DESCRIPTION:The 2017 Big Lunch will take place on Sunday 18th June. \nThe Big Lunch\, an annual get together for neighbours across the UK\, was started by Eden Project Communities in 2009.  Eden supports and encourages people to take positive action that strength local communities and build stronger connections\, and with the Big Lunch\, wanted to create a single day where communities come together in the street to “meet\, greet and share”. \nAnyone who wishes to get involved can request a free Big Lunch starter pack\, which contains tips\, practical advice and resources like posters\, invites and stickers.  Packs are available to download\, or physical copies can be requested via the Big Lunch website. \nWhile the official Big Lunch takes place in June\, communities are welcome to organise a Big Lunch for any time that suits them. \nFor further information\, including further resources\, frequently asked questions and details on other Big Lunch events held throughout the year\, please visit the Big Lunch homepage.
