SUMMARY:“Tax and TARs” Trustees’ Week Event
DESCRIPTION:As part of Trustees’ Week\, CVS Falkirk\, Stirlingshire Voluntary Enterprise (SVE) and Clackmannanshire TSI (CTSI) are working with Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC) and the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) to hold “Tax and TARs” on Wednesday 6th November. \nThis half-day workshop takes place 1pm – 4pm at the brand new Barracks Conference Centre\, Forthside Way\, Stirling\, FK8 1QZ. \nJulian Maybury from HMRC will speak about Corporation Tax and how charities should file their tax returns\, while Laura Anderson from OSCR will talk about the importance of the Trustees’ Annual Report (TAR)\, including as a marketing tool\, and will share her experiences\, along with some of the more innovative approaches to TARs submitted to OSCR over the years. \nAttendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of both speakers\, along with the chance to network with colleagues from the local sector. \nTo book your place\, or for further information\, please visit the Eventbrite page.
