SUMMARY:Tacking Action on Rural Poverty Online Event
DESCRIPTION:The Rural Communities Branch of Scottish Government’s Community-Led Local Development (CLLD) team is holding its annual online event on tackling rural poverty in Scotland\, on Tuesday 2 December 2025\, 10am – 12:30pm\, via Zoom. \nThis year\, the team will be looking ahead to the 2026 Scottish elections and asking how can efforts to tackle rural poverty in Scotland be renewed and strengthened in the next parliament? \nPerspectives will be shared from Scotland\, Wales\, and Ireland\, along with reflections from this year’s European Rural Parliament (held in Aberdeenshire).  Attendees will be able to meet people from across rural and island Scotland who share their mission to end poverty\, with the opportunity to collaboratively shape key messages for Scotland’s political parties as they develop their 2026 manifestos. \nTo book your place\, or for further information\, please complete the Zoom registration form (linked for your convenience).
