DESCRIPTION:The Falkirk Asylum Seeker Support Partnership invite you to join an information and engagement session on Wednesday 19 June\, 9:30am – 12pm\, online via Teams. \nHeld during Refugee Week 2024\, the session is an opportunity to learn more about how refugees and asylum seekers are being supported in the Falkirk District area through a partnership approach\, the needs and challenges commonly faced by individuals from these groups\, and to discuss the range of ways third sector groups and organisations can help to offer a warm Falkirk welcome to New Scots. \nDuring the session we will hear updates from organisations directly supporting asylum seekers and refugees in Falkirk to provide the benefit of hearing voices of lived experience. \nIf you have any questions about the session or to book your place\, please contact Kerrie Hoggan\, Third Sector Engagement Officer\, by email: kerrie.hoggan@cvsfalkirk.org.uk
