SUMMARY:Stream for Strathcarron
DESCRIPTION:Due to many of their fundraising activities cancelled as a result of COVID-19\, Strathcarron Hospice has organised “Stream for Strathcarron”\, an online fundraising campaign with a difference. \nThe clocks go back this year on Sunday 25th October\, meaning Strathcarron nurses will work an extra hour to provide specialist care and support to people living with a life-limiting condition. \n“Stream for Strathcarron” asks gamers\, streamers and content creators to take on their own nightshift\, 12pm on Saturday 24th October – 12pm on Sunday 25th October (split into different “shifts”)\, and if possible stream their activity via a JustGiving profile. \nThe original aim was to raise £312 to cover the cost of this extra hour; the JustGiving page reports they have already raised over £1\,000. All additional funds raised will be used to fund the Hospice’s services. \nLocal tattoo studio Blue Lass Tattoo is also taking part\, and is encouraging people to donate £5 to their profile to be entered into a prize raffle.
