SUMMARY:Sporting Chance Course: First Session
DESCRIPTION:LinkLiving has launched their new course\, “Sporting Chance”\, which is open to young people in the Falkirk District\, aged 16 – 25 years old. \nFunded by the Falkirk Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund\, and in partnership with Falkirk Foundation\, Sporting Chance is an 8-week program running every Thursday and Friday (10am – 3pm)\, beginning on Thursday 15th June. \nLunch is provided\, and bus travel vouchers are available. \nSporting Chance aims to combine the personal development needs of young people with the importance of health and fitness\, providing participants the opportunity take part in football\, as well as other sporting activities. \nThe first half of the day will be classroom-based at Link Academy\, covering topics related to wellbeing\, such as Mindset\, Conflict Resolution\, Dealing with Stress and Managing Anxiety. All sessions will be interactive\, and participants will take part in different team building activities.
