SUMMARY:Special Constable Volunteer Online Recruitment Event
DESCRIPTION:Police Scotland is running free online Special Constable recruitment events\, on Thursday 22 May 2025\, 2pm – 4pm and 6pm – 8pm\, and on Saturday 24 May 2025\, 10am – 12pm. \nThe Special Constable is a volunteer role with the same powers as a Police Officer. These events are free to attend and aim to provide those interested in volunteering with Police Scotland with a better understanding of the Special Constable role. \nAt each event\, they will discuss: \n\nthe operational duties of a Special Constable\nthe recruitment process and eligibility criteria\nthe benefits of joining Police Scotland\nthe assessment process\n\nAttendees will also have the chance to meet the recruitment and volunteer coordination team\, some of the Special Constables\, and have the chance to ask any questions they may have. \nTo book your place\, or for further information\, please visit the Police Scotland website.
