DESCRIPTION:This week is Self Management Week 2019\, taking place Monday 7th October – Friday 11th October and celebrating 10 years of the Self Management Fund (established after recommendations in Scotland’s first co-produced self management strategy\, “Gaun Yersel!”). \nSelf Management Week is an annual campaign aiming to raise awareness and showcase the benefits self management can bring to people’s lives. Events and activity will be taking place across Scotland throughout the week\, celebrating self management in practice\, exploring self management topics and sharing stories of how self management can support people to live their lives on their terms. \nAs part of the campaign\, the Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland (the ALLIANCE) has released a resource pack for people\, projects and health and social care professionals to get involved. \nFor further information\, including how to promote your event or activity\, or download the resource pack\, please visit the ALLIANCE website.
