SUMMARY:“SCRA Preparing Children for Hearings” Training Sessions
DESCRIPTION:The Falkirk Child Protection Committee has organised “Scottish Children’s Reporter Administration (SCRA) Preparing Children for Hearings” training sessions: \n\nTuesday 17th September\nTuesday 19th November\n\nThe sessions both take place 9am – 11:30am at the Falkirk Hearing Centre\, Campfield House\, Wellside Place\, Falkirk\, FK1 5RL. \nThe sessions aim to equip professionals with the skills and knowledge to prepare children for attending a Hearing\, and are open to Team Around the Child members who are likely in the best position to prepare children (especially those in Nursery\, Primary and Secondary education\, and new social workers). \nThe SCRA will be limiting actual hearing observations in due course\, in order to provide a more practical alternative and ensure more privacy for children and families. \nPlaces are extremely limited\, and booking is essential.
