SUMMARY:Scottish COVID-19 Inquiry: Round-Table Discussion
DESCRIPTION:In partnership with CVS Falkirk & District\, the Scottish COVID-19 Inquiry would like to invite third sector groups and organisations from Falkirk District to a virtual roundtable discussion on Wednesday 26 June\, 2-4pm\, online via Teams. \nParticipants will have the opportunity to engage with representatives from the Inquiry and discuss key issues and impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic in Scotland\, on both the third sector and the groups/individuals they support or represent\, in relation to welfare assistance programmes\, and financial support and guidance. \nDiscussion points will be circulated in due course\, but will likely include matters such as: welfare benefits; food; fuel poverty; housing; emergency essentials; support for community and social inclusion; financial support; guidance; and keyworkers\, as well as lessons to be learned from the COVID-19 pandemic in Scotland\, and the response by the Scottish Government and other public agencies. \nIf you have any questions about the session or to book your place\, please contact Kerrie Hoggan\, Third Sector Engagement Officer\, by email: kerrie.hoggan@cvsfalkirk.org.uk
