SUMMARY:Scottish Charity Awards 2021: Applications Deadline
DESCRIPTION:Applications for the 2021 Scottish Charity Awards are now open. \nOrganised by the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO)\, the awards celebrate the vital work carried out by Scotland’s third sector\, with third sector groups and organisations\, as well as individual people\, welcome to nominate or apply. \nReflecting the sector’s efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdowns\, there are 9 new and revamped categories: \n\nEmployee of the Year\nTrustee of the Year\nCommunity Action\nCampaign of the Year\nCharity of the Year\nVolunteer of the Year\nDigital Citizens\nPioneering Project\nClimate Conscious\n\nThe winners will be decided by a panel of judges and announced on Friday 1st October. \nAll finalists from these categories will also be entered into the running for the People’s Choice Award\, which allows members of the public a chance to vote for their favourite finalist. \nAn awards ceremony will take place later in autumn; whether this will be a virtual event or not is to be confirmed. \nThe deadline for nominations and applications is 5pm on Friday 14th May. \nTo apply\, or to nominate a group or person for an award\, please visit the Scottish Charity Awards website. \nAlternatively\, for further information\, visit the SCVO website.
