SUMMARY:Scotland’s Climate Week 2020
DESCRIPTION:Scotland’s Climate Week 2020 takes place Monday 14th September – Sunday 20th September\, and Falkirk Council is keen to promote events and activities taking place locally. \nIt is anticipated that most of these will be online due to COVID-19 restrictions\, therefore providing more opportunities to signpost to materials\, resources and inspiration delivered online from around the world. There may also be activities which can take place in person\, in a safe\, socially distanced way (while also making use of technology). \nOrganisations and groups are encouraged to tweet about their Climate Week events and activities using the hashtag #ScotClimateWeek. \nFalkirk Council has produced a drafted calendar of online events covering a broad range of climate-related topics; they are also looking to organise events with a more local focus. \nTo request a copy of this calendar\, to be kept up to date on these local events\, or for promotion of your own Climate Week events or activities\, please contact Roddy Hamilton by email: Roddy.Hamilton@falkirk.gov.uk \nAlternatively\, to view or download the current Falkirk Council drafted schedule as a pdf\, visit the CVS Falkirk website.
