SUMMARY:Preventing\, Managing and Resolving Family Conflict Training
DESCRIPTION:The Scottish Centre for Conflict Resolution (SCCR) is holding a practical\, one-day training course on Preventing\, Managing and Resolving Family Conflict\, on Thursday 12 June 2025\, 10am – 4pm. \nTaking place at Stirling Baptist Church\, 67 Murray Place\, Stirling\, FK8 1AU\, the course is aimed at practitioners\, professionals\, and volunteers working with families\, parents\, and young people. Preventing\, Managing and Resolving Family Conflict explores key conflict resolution topics including relationships\, conflict responses\, and practical techniques. \nThis training is a key part of SCCR’s mission to reduce the risk of youth homelessness by improving relationships and easing family tensions. \nParticipants will review and explore key topics\, including: \n\nUnderstanding Relationships\nInterpersonal Conflict\nConflict Responses\nConflict Resolution Skills\nPractical Resources and Techniques\n\nWith a mix of presentations\, discussion\, and activities\, participants will also have the opportunity reflect on their experiences and build skills to help reduce family conflict and youth homelessness. The session is designed to be inclusive and collaborative\, encouraging participants to share their own experiences and learn alongside like-minded individuals.
