DESCRIPTION:In addition to their “Care with Confidence (CWC)” sessions for unpaid carers\, Falkirk and Clackmannanshire Carers Centre is hosting a free event from Playlist for Life on exploring the connection between personal music and dementia. \nThe event takes place on Thursday 15th February\, 10:30am – 12:30pm\, in-person at the Carers Centre\, 1A Bank Street\, Falkirk\, FK1 1NB\, and is aimed at community leaders\, people with lived experience of dementia\, those caring for people living with dementia\, and anyone interested in the benefits of personalised music in the context of dementia care. \nThe event will cover: \n\nUnderstanding the Impact of Music on Dementia\nPersonal Stories: Sharing Experiences and Insights\nInteractive Workshops: Learning to create your own playlist and using it therapeutically\n\nRefreshments will also be available. \nThe aim of the event is to create a supportive space for sharing experiences\, gaining knowledge\, and discovering the role music plays in the lives of those living with dementia.
