SUMMARY:Picnic in the Park!
DESCRIPTION:We’re delighted to announce that Picnic in the Park will take place on Wednesday 1st June\, 12pm – 2pm at Callendar Park\, on the very first day of Volunteers’ Week 2022! \nWe have been determined to bring together volunteers from across Falkirk and District\, to say a special\, and well-earned thank you for everything they have done over the last few years – and now\, with COVID-19 restrictions easing\, Volunteers’ Week presented the perfect opportunity. \nThere will be entertainment and refreshments\, plus the chance to sit outside in the beautiful surroundings of Callendar Park and catch up with other volunteers. \nPicnic in the Park will be fully accessible\, and will follow all relevant COVID-19 guidance at the time; attendees are welcome to wear masks if they wish\, and social distancing (plus Distance Aware badges and lanyards) will be respected. We have catering for up to 100 people\, though more people are welcome to attend; two spaces can be reserved in advance for catering. \nDue to catering and accessibility\, booking is essential. \nIf you want to offer your group’s volunteers something special to kick off Volunteers’ Week\, or for further information\, please contact our team by email (including your group’s name\, the number of volunteers attending\, and their names) to book your places: info@cvsfalkirk.org.uk
