SUMMARY:Parenting Multiples Drop-in Support Group Launch
DESCRIPTION:A new drop-in support group for parents of multiples launches on Thursday 16th November\, 10am – 12pm. \nOrganised by Forth Valley Pandas and Stenhousemuir FC’s Warriors in the Community\, and funded by the Falkirk Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund\, the free group is for parents\, guardians and carers of twins\, triplets or more\, or those who have had two (or more!) children in quick succession who may need peer support\, or a safe place for children to play while they take a moment’s rest. \nFollowing the launch\, the group will take place twice per month\, on the first and Thursday of the month\, at Stenhouse and Carron Parish Church\, 153 Church Street\, Stenhousemuir\, FK5 4BU (GoogleMaps linked for your convenience). Children will be able to play (supervised by group volunteers) while their adults take the opportunity to be with others familiar with the daily challenges of parenting multiples. Adults can also take the time during the group to have a hot drink and relax\, or make a phone call\, or whatever else they need to do. \nFuture drop-ins will take place on: \n\nThursday 7th December 2023\nThursday 21st December 2023 (possibly with a Christmas party)\n(There will be no group on Thursday 4th January 2024\, as the schools will still be off.)\nThursday 18th January 2024\nThursday 1st February 2024\nThursday 15th February 2024\nThursday 7th March 2024\nThursday 21st March 2024\n\nPlease note\, there is no need to arrive at 10am and stay for 2 hours.
