DESCRIPTION:A local Forth Valley man is walking the length of Britain to raise awareness of suicide\, suicide prevention and postvention. \nJohn Gibson is currently walking from Lands End to John O’Groats to raise awareness of suicide and raise funds for the Canmore Trust\, the charity the Gibson family have set up to support suicide prevention and postvention\, and both provide and support safe spaces for those affected by suicide\, in memory of John’s son\, Cameron\, who died by suicide in 2019. \nPeople are welcome to join John on his walk and open a national conversation about suicide; the walk will pass through Forth Valley next week for anyone who wishes to take part: \n\nMonday 8th August: Linlithgow to Kilsyth\nTuesday 9th August: Kilsyth to Drymen\nThursday 11th August: Drymen to Inversnaid\n\nFor further information\, including full details on the walking route and where you can join John\, please visit the Canmore Trust website. \nAlternatively\, for updates on John’s journey\, follow the hashtag #OneManWalkingAMillionTalking on Facebook and Instagram.
