New Carers (Scotland) Act Briefing Session in Falkirk

Dates for the next briefing sessions on the Carers (Scotland) Act 2016 have been announced, taking place at the Falkirk and Clackmannanshire Carers Centre, 1A Bank Street, Falkirk FK1 1NB:
- Monday 24th September, 1pm – 2:30pm or 3pm – 4:30pm
- Monday 1st October 2018, 1pm – 2:30pm or 3pm – 4:30pm
- Friday 5th October 2018, 1pm – 2:30pm or 3pm – 4:30pm
Implementation of the Act is underway. The Act places a range of duties on local authorities and the NHS. This includes delegated responsibilities to Health and Social Care Partnerships through Integration Joint Boards.
These briefing sessions have been arranged to keep staff and organisations up to date with the new duties, implications of the Act and progress to date. Places are free, but booking is essential.
