SUMMARY:Network Rail Engineering Works: Disruption to Falkirk Services
DESCRIPTION:From Monday 29th January\, Network Rail engineers will be delivering safety-critical rockfall prevention engineering works on the main Edinburgh-Glasgow railway line\, with normal services resuming on Friday 2nd February. \nThe work will mean significant disruption to some services through Scotland’s Central Belt\, including Falkirk stations. A list of changes is available below: \n\nEdinburgh Waverley – Glasgow Queen Street (via Falkirk High) services will terminate at Linlithgow; no trains will run between Edinburgh Waverley and Linlithgow.\nEdinburgh Waverley – Dunblane services will terminate at Falkirk Grahamston; no trains will run between Edinburgh Waverley and Falkirk Grahamston.\nEdinburgh Waverley – Helensburgh and Milngavie services will terminate at Bathgate; no trains will run between Edinburgh Waverley and Bathgate.\nEdinburgh Waverley – Inverness services will run via Fife; ScotRail services will not call at Stirling\, and coaches will replace trains on LNER services between Edinburgh\, Stirling and Inverness.\n\nPassengers should check their journey before travelling at the National Rail website (linked for your convenience)\, or with their individual train operator. \nFor further information on these engineering works\, please visit the Network Rail news article. \nAlternatively\, for further information or queries\, contact the Network Rail national helpline by phone: 03457 11 41 41\, or via their Twitter account (X.com).
