DESCRIPTION:Scottish Care have announced their My Day My Way end of project event on Thursday 23rd March\, 10am – 1pm at the Falkirk Business Hub\, 45 Vicar Street\, Falkirk\, FK1 1LL. \nThe event will celebrate the outcomes of older people from Falkirk and East Renfrewshire who were involved in the self-directed support project\, which has explored the potential of SDS in day opportunities. \nAttendees will learn about the ways participants have developed new methods using person-centred approaches\, emphasising choice and control.  They will also hear from the project researcher\, Louise Close\, who has been considering the wider implications of self-directed support for day opportunities. \nPlease confirm your attendance with Scottish Care before Friday 3rd March. \nTo book your place\, or for further information\, please contact Caroline Brown by phone: 07736672003\, or email: cath.balmer@scottishcare.org.uk
