SUMMARY:Money Advice Scotland Financial Wellbeing Training: “Introduction to Financial Wellbeing”
DESCRIPTION:Money Advice Scotland is hosting 2 more sessions of their “Introduction to Financial Wellbeing” training for third sector practitioners. \nThis free course is open to everyone\, with a special focus on those in supportive roles who would benefit from feeling more confident in talking to their service users about money worries they may have. \nSessions will be held on: \n\nThursday 20 March\, 9:30am – 12:30pm: BOOKING LINK\nMonday 31 March\, 9:30am – 12:30pm: BOOKING LINK\n\nPlease note that these sessions do not cover benefits or debt advice. \nThis course has been designed to examine and understand the essential elements of financial wellbeing\, exploring the challenges and barriers that prevent many individuals from achieving it. New topics include the lasting impact of the cost-of-living crisis\, digital exclusion\, poverty\, and domestic abuse. The course also highlights practical strategies to overcome these barriers and enhance financial wellbeing through effective money guidance. \nThis free course is open to everyone\, with a special focus on those in supportive roles. It aims to provide participants with insights into the link between financial wellbeing and overall wellbeing. The course also explores practical methods to integrate money guidance and financial education into their services\, helping their clients take meaningful steps toward financial stability and confidence. \nMoney Advice Scotland also run virtual interactive Financial Wellbeing workshops for service users. These workshops cover a range of topics and can be tailored to any group.
