“Men Minds” Mental Health Project Event

April 25, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 3:30 pm

Free

The Men Minds Project is hosting a series of in-person events across Scotland around mental health for marginalized young men; the next event takes place on Tuesday 25th April, 10am – 3:30pm, at the University of Strathclyde’s Insight Institute, Collins Building, 22 Richmond Street, Glasgow, G1 1XH.

The event is aimed at policymakers and practitioners who work in mental health, or with young men from Men Minds’ 3 focus groups:

  • those in conflict with the law
  • young migrants
  • LGBTQI+ young men

Men Minds is looking to learn more about current practices, challenges for services, and the current level of knowledge in relation to the mental health needs of marginalized young men. They plan to use insights gained at these events to help shape their research and inform research outputs.

Attendees will hear about the Men Minds Project and its background research, and take part in discussion groups to share perspectives, practices, insights, and knowledge, and raise any known gaps in understanding or services. There will also be the opportunity to network.

To book your place, or for further information, please visit the Eventbrite page.
