SUMMARY:Marie Curie - Connect\, Share and Learn Online Session
DESCRIPTION:Hosted by Marie Curie\, Connect\, Share and Learn is an online open space for to come together\, and to learn\, from each other\, how we can support those in the community experiencing dying\, death and bereavement. The next session will be held on Thursday 20 June 2024\, between 11am and 12pm. \nThis session welcomes Laura Whip from The Advocacy Project who will talk about what independent advocacy is and the role advocacy can play within palliative care. Laura’s session will take up most of the hour but there will be plenty of opportunity to ask Laura questions and there will be an opportunity for those of you who would like to share what you / your organisation is involved in\, under the broad themes of dying\, death and bereavement. \nThese sessions are open to everyone in the community\, however advanced registration is required (booking form linked for your convenience). \nFor further information\, please email helen.macgregor@mariecurie.org.uk or elliot.taylor@mariecurie.org.uk.
