DESCRIPTION:Supporting The Third Sector (STTS) Project will hold their next UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) Event in the Making Rights Real series\, “GIRFEC: Policy into Practice”\, on Tuesday 30th August\, 10am – 12:30pm\, via Zoom. \nThe event series aims to promote the alignment of Scottish incorporation of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) to specific policy areas. This event takes a focus on the Getting It Right For Every Child (GIRFEC) policy\, particularly around the time of the GIRFEC Guidance Refresh. \nThis session will feature: \n\nupdates from Scottish Government’s GIRFEC team about the guidance refresh\nparticipation of CYP in the policy refresh\ncreative practice from Third Sector Children’s Services to bring the National Practice Framework to life\nresources for practitioners to use to ensure children\, young people and families are kept at the heart of GIRFEC in policy and practice\n\nThe session is aimed at anyone working or volunteering in the children’s services sector. \nTo book your place\, or for further information\, please visit the Eventbrite page.
