SUMMARY:Living Well After Stroke Free Event
DESCRIPTION:Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland (CHSS)\, together with Different Strokes\, are hosting the “Living Well After Stroke” event for stroke survivors of working age to talk about the challenges and experiences of life after stroke. \nThe FREE event takes place on Saturday 11th May\, 10am – 3pm at the Dewars Centre\, Glover Street\, Perth\, PH2 0TH. Parking is available at the centre for a low charge. \nStroke survivors and those close to them will be given the opportunity to share their experiences and highlight how they could be better supported to live their lives to the full. \nThe event will cover topics such as returning to work\, dealing with low mood\, managing money worries\, the effect on family life and keeping socially connected and active. \nThe organisers aim to gain insight from people’s lived experiences and develop future services with the stroke survivors’ needs in mind. \nTo book your place\, or for further information\, please visit the CHSS website. \nAlternatively\, contact Deborah Slater by phone: 07388378604\, or email: deborah.slater@chss.org.uk
