SUMMARY:Living Right Up to the End Open Meetings
DESCRIPTION:As a result of their findings from the Living Right Up to the End project\, now entering its final 6 months\, Strathcarron Hospice are setting up a small working group around getting people with long-term health conditions the right information at the right time in the right way. \nThey would like to invite people either with a long-term condition (such as heart disease\, stroke\, breathing problems\, cancer\, Parkinson’s or multiple sclerosis (MS))\, or those who care for or know someone with one of these conditions. \nThe working group will meet once a month for 4 months\, and focus on helping Strathcarron Hospice understand more about what information and resources people need to support them to live actively and make plans for the future while living with an illness. \nThe open meetings will be held in the Community Room of Denny Library\, Davies Row\, Denny\, FK6 6FA\, on the following dates: \n\nThursday 18th May 10:30am – 12:30pm\nThursday 15th June 10:30am – 12:30pm\nWednesday 12th July 10:30am – 12:30pm\nWednesday 9th August 10:30am – 12:30pm\n\nHowever\, it is not essential to attend all 4 meetings.  Strathcarron Hospice would like to hear from as many people as possible with this working group.  They ask that those who would like to come to the meetings let them know in advance. \nTo book your place\, or for further information\, please contact Susan High or Mandy Ross by phone: 01324 826222
