SUMMARY:Just Enterprise Business Skills: "Charitable Trading"
DESCRIPTION:Just Enterprise is developing on their Autumn/Winter 2022/23 training schedule\, with Business Skills Workshops due to begin in October. \nThey have created an online survey (linked for your convenience) for people to register interest in upcoming workshops topics\, discuss learning preferences\, and note any other topics they would like to see included in future workshops\, as well as whether they would prefer workshops to remain online\, or return to in-person learning. \nTo submit your response\, please visit the SurveyMonkey page. \nThe final workshops of the summer schedule take place: \n\nTuesday 6th September\, 10am – 12pm: “Writing for the Web”\n\nan interactive workshop where participants will identify and include critical keywords on their website\, which match their organisation’s objectives and help with Search Engine Optimisation (SEO). They will also learn about some of the digital content marketing tools available\, how to use them\, and learn about tools which will help monitor the effectiveness of their website\n\n\nFriday 30th September\, 11am – 12:30pm: “Charitable Trading” (also running on Thursday 10th November)\n\nparticipants will explore the law and how it applies to charity trading\, what kinds of trading are permissible for charities\, and how to carry out non-charitable trading and remain within the law; this session will also include information about the legal implications of trading as a charity\, and when it is appropriate or legally necessary to set up a trading arm for an organisation\n\n\n\nAll Business Skills Workshops are designed for people working or volunteering within Scotland’s third sector\, but places are limited and must be registered in advance. \nFor further information\, including how to book your space at any online workshop in the summer schedule\, please click on the relevant date above.
