DESCRIPTION:Social Security Scotland is holding a series of roadshows in advance of the Job Start Payment launch\, with the Falkirk event taking place on Thursday 13th February\, 10am – 12:30pm at the Forth Valley Sensory Centre\, Redbrae Road\, Camelon\, FK1 4DD. \nThe Job Start Payment (previously known as the Job Grant) is a new payment from Social Security Scotland to help young people with costs associated with the transition into employment\, after a time out of paid work. \nThere will also be events in Glasgow on Friday 14th February and in Edinburgh on Friday 28th February\, as well as an online webinar and a teleconference on Thursday 20th February. \nThe Falkirk event will include: \n\nan introductory presentation (covering Social Security Scotland’s role\, and the policy background and eligibility criteria for the Job Start Payment)\ninformation on the Job Start Payment application process\nSocial Security Scotland’s appeals process\nan opportunity to ask the Social Security Scotland team further questions\n\nTea\, coffee and biscuits will be available. \nTo book your place at the Falkirk event\, please visit the Eventbrite page.
