DESCRIPTION:Diabetes Scotland is hosting a free webinar\, “Introduction to Diabetes Tech”\, on Tuesday 29th August\, 7:30pm – 8:30pm. \nDiabetes Scotland is looking to help simplify the amount of information on the technology available to people living with diabetes. During the webinar\, experts will look at the different types of technology available\, and how it can support with managing diabetes. Contributors will also explore who is eligible for technology and how to get it. \nGuests include people living with diabetes who will share their personal experiences of using diabetes tech\, and Professor Brian Kennon\, Consultant in Diabetes & Endocrinology\, and National Lead for Diabetes\, who will update on the latest developments\, with help to equip people for conversations with their healthcare professionals. \nThis webinar is free\, aiming to provide a good understanding of diabetes technology\, and is open to people living with diabetes or caring for a person with diabetes. \nTo book your place\, please complete the online booking form (linked for your convenience); you will then be emailed joining instructions ahead of the event.
