DESCRIPTION:Inspire Denny and Dunipace are holding a series of drop-in Tree-Planting Sessions at the grassy area backing on to Denny Cemetery\, behind Denny High School\, on: \n\nFriday 3rd December\, 10am -12pm and 1pm – 3pm\nSaturday 4th December\, 10am -12pm and 1pm – 3pm\n\nThey will be planting 400 native trees\, awarded via the “I Dig Trees” scheme from The Conservation Volunteers (TCV) and OVO Energy. To access the meeting point\, people should follow the footpath behind the Denny Centre (down to the bottom of the hill\, past the back of the High School and along the new cycle path). \nThe trees will help reduce the area’s carbon footprint\, encourage biodiversity and wildlife\, and provide additional cover for deer\, squirrels and birds\, while enhancing the area for residents and visitors. \nThose interested are welcome to bring their own spade and gloves\, though there will be equipment available if needed.
