DESCRIPTION:Employ a Paid Member of Staff Through the ERI: Meeting This Thursday\nThird sector organisations have the opportunity to employee a paid member of staff through Falkirk Council’s Employment and Training Unit (ETU) the fully funded Employer Recruitment Incentive (ERI). \nThe Employer Recruitment Incentive is funded by Scottish Government\, in response to the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Participating groups and organisations must have people in place by the end of September 2022. There are 15 paid placements available to people aged 25 years old and over\, who have been unemployed for over 12 months and have barriers to employment\, with public and third sector organisations. \nThese placements – which may be entry-level positions – will be fixed term for 26 weeks\, at up to 30 hours per week\, paid at the Living Wage (paid by Falkirk Council through the ERI). \nIf your organisation is interested in employing a staff member but currently lack the appropriate infrastructure in terms of recruitment and/or payroll\, you may still be able to participate with additional support from Falkirk Council’s ETU including resources to manage the placement. \nHow to Get Involved\nThird sector groups and organisations who would like to find out more about this investment\, and about the opportunity to contribute by hosting a placement and upskilling local people who need support into employment\, are invited to an online Microsoft Teams meeting this coming Thursday 25th August\, 10am – 11am. \nTo attend this meeting\, please book in advance by emailing info@cvsfalkirk.org.uk and the meeting details will be sent to you ahead of Thursday morning. \nFurther Information\nFor further information\, please view or download the Falkirk ERI presentation\, linked for your convenience. \nIf your organisation is interested in this opportunity we would encourage you to attend the meeting to receive more information.
