DESCRIPTION:Scottish Government has opened its consultation on section 38 of the Human Trafficking and Exploitation (Scotland) Act 2015: “Duty to notify and provide information about victims”. \nThe consultation will gather views on who should be subject to the duty\, what information should be included in notifications to and from Police Scotland\, who they should pass information on to\, and other bodies Scottish Government should work with. \nScottish Government is also holding events to hear from organisations named in the consultation papers\, including: \n\nFriday 5th July in Edinburgh\nTuesday 27th August in Inverness\n\nThe deadline for consultation responses is Friday 6th September. \nTo submit your response\, please visit the Scottish Government website.
