DESCRIPTION:Social Enterprise Scotland is holding regular\, free online webinars for social entrepreneurs throughout March. The sessions take place regularly on Wednesdays\, 11:30am – 12:30pm. \nSession topics include: \n\n“How Tax Can Drive Social Enterprise Development” on Wednesday 24th March\n\nHelping social enterprises adapt and develop is a key task for Social Enterprise Scotland in the months and years ahead. During this webinar\, they will ask what else they can do\, apart from funding and business support? What role could tax and tax reliefs play? How can social enterprises use tax to drive social change? What creative policies could Social Enterprise Scotland have around Business Rates\, Council Tax\, Landfill Tax and the range of other devolved taxes? How could they help social enterprises? \nJoining this session will be Alastair Davis\, Chief Executive\, Social Investment Scotland\, Graham Drummond and Jaime Boswell\, Fair Tax Mark\, with others to be confirmed. \n\n“The Role of Social Enterprise in Mental Health” on Wednesday 31st March\n\nMental health has become a vital topic over the past year\, and will increase in importance as we emerge from lockdown. Social Enterprise Scotland asks\, what role do social enterprises play in the mental health recovery? What role can they play going forward?
