SUMMARY:Generations Working Together: Annual General Meeting 2024
DESCRIPTION:Generations Working Together (GWT) invite you to join them for their 10th Annual General Meeting\, taking place on Wednesday 13 November 2024\, from 12:00pm – 1:15pm\, online via Zoom. \nThe session will last approximately 60 to 95 minutes providing attendees an opportunity to hear directly from their Chair\, Graham Hewitson. Graham will kick off the session with a warm welcome and provide everyone with an update on their work from the past year and plans for the new Corporate Plan 2025 – 2030. Graham will also be joined by their accountant David Nicholls FCCA\, from Brett Nicholls Associates\, who will present the 2023-24 accounts. \nFor the second year running\, GWT were successful in their bid to secure funding for a University Intern (Find a Solution Programme\, University of Glasgow). Aysmina Aza\, the successful candidate\, was asked to: \n\ngauge the nature and extent of age awareness in the Scottish workplace;\nbuild a picture of age-diversity in the workplace;\nbetter understand the implications that may come from a multi-generational workforce\, including challenges and opportunities for employers/companies\, staff members/individuals and the wider Scottish society.\n\nLorraine George will provide an update on the results of Aysmina’s research and an overview of GWT’s new workplace training opportunities. \nThis event is open to: GWT members (Scottish and International); GWT voting members representing each local network area across Scotland; Funders\, decision makers and other key stakeholders from all sectors (public/voluntary and private). \nPlease note\, zoom links will be emailed either the afternoon before\, or on the morning of the event. \nFor further information – including the Agenda\, previous AGM Minutes and Annual Accounts\, or to book a place – please visit the GWT website.
