Please contact info@cvsfalkirk.org.uk to join the waiting list.\n\nCVS Falkirk is holding online information sessions on Community Asset Transfer (CAT) (with the possibility for additional sessions at a later date)\, taking place: \n\nMonday 23rd January\, 12:30pm – 1:30pm FULLY BOOKED\nMonday 6th February\, 12:30pm – 1:30pm FULLY BOOKED\n\n“An Informed Choice: Community Asset Transfer” is open to third sector organisations and groups across Falkirk and District\, from Bo’ness to Banknock\, Airth to Limerigg\, including: charities\, voluntary and community groups\, social enterprises\, volunteers\, community centre and hall associations\, and committees and boards. \nThese sessions are part of our support to the local third sector and communities around the recently announced Strategic Property Review and the proposal to make 133 council-owned properties available for transfer to communities. “An Informed Choice” is a chance to learn more about the opportunities and possible challenges of CAT and community ownership\, including rights and responsibilities\, and eligibility criteria. \nWe will be joined by the Community Ownership Support Service (COSS) and Development Trusts Association Scotland (DTAS)\, who will discuss the CAT process and steps involved.
