SUMMARY:Free Parenting Apart Workshop with Strathcarron Hospice
DESCRIPTION:As part of their community work\, Strathcarron Hospice is holding a Parenting Apart workshop\, facilitated by Family Mediation Scotland\, on Friday 9th December\, 10:30am – 1:30pm at the Hospice\, Randolph Hill\, Denny\, FK6 5HJ. \nThe group workshop is aimed at separated and divorced parents who have children\, and will cover strategies to help reduce conflict\, and answer some of the difficult questions asked by their children. \nStrathcarron Hospice has been involved in community work and development since 2013. Their mission is to work alongside people and communities to co-create conditions where people can live well right up to the end. Strathcarron now has a team of 12 community workers\, who work in a variety of projects which are all underpinned by an asset-based community development (ABCD) approach. \nThis team includes Community Link Workers (CLW)\, who are funded by Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership\, and are based in the primary care team within GP practices. They work alongside individuals with a wide variety of issues to support them to connect with their local community and so live the best\, most active lives possible. \nRefreshments will be provided at the workshop\, which is free to attend\, but booking is essential.
